Remository now has its very own home! Remository is such a good component for Joomla or Mambo - a neat file repository with a good range of functions and an attractive user interface. And now Remository 3.40 is in public beta at the Remository web site! The database tables have been redesigned to improve the flexibility of the code and to make way for new features. WANTED! Beta testers for Remository 3.40 - please download from the Remository site and feed back your experiences. But don't be surprised if there are some bugs at this stage.

The documentation wiki had to be withdrawn because of the actions of link spammers, but I am hoping to provide some alternative soon.

Remository is developed by Black Sheep Research, and support services or customisation are available - contact us to discuss your requirements.

I got into this back in 2004 because my site was hacked through a security hole in Remository. It transpired that Matt Smith, previously Mr Remository, had gone off to do other things. Well, in the spirit of open source, if you want something done, one possibility is to do it yourself. So here we are. There has been a rapid series of small releases. The aim was to produce a single component that will work in any version of Mambo 4.5 or later. It is basically achieved, and version 2.25 seems to be very. And now version 3.40 is coming. For more feature changes, please add to the feature requests at http://www.remository.com/Forum

If you want a custom version of Remository, a Mambo web site, another component or other expert PHP development, discuss your needs with us!
